A fair day work for a fair day salary. Minimum wage is set, and sometimes in other jurisdictions their legislature fix its base amount, with sole purpose of giving a fair day service is paid with a fair day compensation. In the Philippines, its non-payment is an offense. Basic Wage in Metro Manila,Philippines

Based on Wage Order No. NCR-13b effective 28 Aug. '07, the new basic minimum wage in the Philippines was increased to Php362.oo per day. See Table below:
